Watered Down is a reminder app, not a safety device. It does not measure how much you have drunk, your blood alcohol level, or whether you are fit to drive. It counts only what you tell it to count.
Not medical or safety advice
Nothing in this app is medical advice. Watered Down does not assess intoxication, impairment, hydration, or health in any form. A thirty-minute timer is a nudge, not a measurement. Never use it to decide whether you are safe to drive, operate machinery, or anything else that depends on being sober.
If you are worried about your drinking, please speak to a doctor or a support service in your country.
Drink responsibly
Watered Down is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. It exists to encourage drinking water, not to encourage drinking alcohol, and it neither sells nor promotes any alcoholic product.
Using the app
Watered Down is free. You may use it on any device you own, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except to the extent that applicable law says you may regardless of these terms.
Your data
Everything the app records stays on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Reminders depend on iOS delivering local notifications, which can be delayed or suppressed by Focus modes, Low Power Mode, notification settings, or the system itself. We do not guarantee that any reminder will arrive, or arrive on time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Useless Labs is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, Watered Down — including any decision you make while drinking. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version always lives on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
